Can I see a proof before you make my gift?
The process of hand stamping is unlike machine made or engraved gifts. Because all of my work is made by hand with individual steel stamps and a hammer, I am unable to provide a proof.
Will the lettering and designs be perfectly aligned?
Hand stamped jewelry and accessories are made completely by hand with individual stainless steel stamps and a hammer. The letters may not line up perfectly as if they were made by a machine; because they are not. Those tiny imperfections are what make hand stamped gifts so special. No two pieces will be exactly alike. No one piece will look exactly like the sample photo. Because hand stamping displaces metal to make the
impressions (unlike engraving which takes metal away) the back of your piece may have tiny scratches and marks. That too just adds to the unique charm and organic quality of your special gift.
When will my gift ship and when will it arrive?
Under normal circumstances most gifts will ship within 5-7 business days. There are certain variables – how big my production queue is (I'm a one-person shop) and if it’s a holiday time. You can expect production time to be at least 2 weeks during (Christmas, Mother's Day and Father's Day) those times. If you are in a rush, please reach out, if I can I am happy to slip your order up in my queue.
My gifts ship from the Los Angeles area. Standard, domestic (USPS First Class), transit time is usually 5-7 days.
